TMA-AVS-01 Alarm Validation Standard Receives ANSI Accreditation

TMA AVS-01 Alarm Validation Scoring Standard is a breakthrough standard that creates an alarm scoring or classification metric for unauthorized human activity detected by intrusion systems.

As the alarm industry and public safety struggled with efficiencies and prioritization of their resources, stakeholders in the alarm response process partnered together for two years to work on solutions that could address these issues. The newly approved Alarm Validation Scoring Standard is one of the solutions they came up with.

PPVAR is proud to be a part of this partnership. We will continue to assist in the roll-out of the AVS-01 standard including spreading awareness, creating training for the alarm industry and public safety, and pilot programs.
