TMA-AVS-01 Alarm Validation Standard History

PPVAR worked to create the original framework for the AVS-01 (Alarm Validation Scoring) Standard before bringing it to The Monitoring Association (TMA). As an ANSI Accredited Standards Development Organization or SDO, TMA often serves as the lead organization for the development of various standards impacting the security monitoring industry. PPVAR Board members continue to participate in the creation of the standard, as chairs of the AVS-01 Standards Committee and sub-committees. PPVAR regular members participate on as Committee members as well.
